Marketing Associate

Arcweb Technologies is looking for a Marketing Associate to support our Sales and Marketing team. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Old City Philadelphia office.

Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Associate will contribute to the day-to-day execution of the company’s marketing and sales strategy, including market research, web content management, campaign development, and event planning. 

The ideal candidate should have a passion for gathering and analyzing information to support business decision-making, as well as a willingness to develop an understanding of the technology, healthcare, and finance industries. General familiarity with social media, web content management, and HTML is also required. Familiarity with other aspects of digital and traditional marketing – such as SEO, PPC, direct marketing, or copywriting – is a plus, but by no means required. 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of Arcweb’s brand identity and products
  • Identifying sales and marketing opportunities in the healthcare, finance, and technology industries by researching trends, events, businesses, technologies, industry niches, and thought leaders relevant to Arcweb’s customers and services
  • Representing Arcweb at industry events, including 1–2 events per month outside standard working hours
  • Helping maintain Arcweb’s digital presence through web content, email campaign development, and social media management
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing as-needed on other marketing activities, such as event planning, campaign development, direct marketing, and content creation 

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Philadelphia office. This is not a remote position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work out of our office in Old City Philadelphia.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • A marketing, communication, business, or related degree (or equivalent experience)
  • General computer and internet literacy, including familiarity with spreadsheets and word processing 
  • Experience with web content management systems (such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla), email marketing platforms (such as MailChimp or Constant Contact), and basic HTML knowledge
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Strong general communication skills and a willingness to represent the company online and in-person
  • Ability to approach challenges creatively
  • Experience with qualitative or quantitative research, and a familiarity with specific marketing tactics like PPC, SEO, direct marketing, and copywriting is a plus (but by no means required)
